Another great event was held last Saturday on June 6th, 2015 by MTS Logistics. Despite the rain early in the morning, a record breaking number of participants showed up. With the sun showing off itself later on the day and the persistent bikers arriving to the starting point; over 145 people participated, making the 5th Annual MTS Logistics Biking Event to be the best as of yet!
We, as MTS Logistics are so proud to be the host for the largest biking event in the logistics industry. We completed a wonderful ride along Brooklyn Bridge all the way down to Brighton Beach and back to Manhattan’s Battery Park with our friends, colleagues, customers, partners, and anyone else who wanted to be a part of this great cause.
Our reason is simple; we bike for a GREENER PLANET and to support a healthier lifestyle.
With this goal last year a total of 15,000 trees were planted. This year we will exceed that number with the higher number of participants. 200 trees will be planted for each Tier 1 (early morning) bikers and 100 trees will be planted for each Tier 2 bikers. So as MTS Logistics, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to all of you for making this happen!!!
In addition, in order to show our appreciation we had our usual fun raffle again, but this year with even more prizes! Three lucky winners were selected to claim their prizes for a brand new sports bike, a go-pro camera, and a set of sports gear during the wonderful brunch at Volna café. Congratulations winners!
