With the holidays nearing and the seasons changing, I’m sure your cravings for dessert is up high, or is it just me? I don’t really know how those two correlate, but for me personally this is the time that I most crave dessert! There is something so cozy and warm about a slice of cake washed down with hot chocolate or coffee in the winter months. This is also the time of the season when you are visited by so many friends and family members that you haven’t seen for a while, and what better way to catch up than over a cup of coffee and a slice of cake! So without having you wait any longer, here are just a few of my personal favorite spots. Hope you guys enjoy and be sure to let me know if you do decide to give any of these places a chance!

Lady M Confections
This boutique (yes I said boutique) is one of my absolute favorites. Dessert is not just food here but rather a piece of art. If you give this place a shot, then make sure to try out their crepe cakes and their green tea mouse cake. Although this place is a bit on the pricier side, it’s absolutely worth it!

Baked By Melissa
If you are a cupcakes fan, then Baked by Melissa is your cupcake paradise! With over a dozen flavors to choose from, this is your ultimate place. Now be advised that this is not your typical bakery as there is no place to sit and eat. None the less, these mini cupcakes are absolutely delish and also create a perfect gift for sweet lovers.

Martha’s Bakery
I would be lying to you if I didn’t admit that this is my absolute favorite bakery in the whole entire world! Walking into this place is like a trip to heaven for me. Its so cozy and welcoming with a country feel to it. I literally go insane trying to decide what to order each time I go, but my all time favorite is the marble yogurt pound cake and I love to wash it down with some hot chocolate. This is by far my favorite place to go for dessert.

Ladurée
No dessert is ever complete without macaroons, so I hope you are ready for this place. As overpriced as this spot may be, I still believe that it is worth every penny! Ladurée is by far my favorite place for macaroons. With so many different flavors to chose from and the amazing job done displaying these luxury French cookies, I promise you will have no regrets!

Max Brenner
You and I both know that this list would not be complete without Max Brenner. I mean what good is a dessert article without chocolate fondue! The smell of chocolate from the moment you walk in is what in my opinion, adds the extra touch. The best thing I like about this place is that its not only a dessert spot, they serve food as well. So grab a friend for a Saturday brunch and indulge yourself in chocolate after!
