Originally from Atlanta, Will traveled to Kings Point, New York to earn his bachelor’s degree in Marine Transportation from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. After leaving the Academy, Will began his supply chain career in Miami, Florida, and from there continued on in Louisiana, Mississippi and now Texas. While working for the Port of Houston Authority, Will obtained his Masters in Global Supply Chain and Logistics from Syracuse University.
Will Whitehouse joined the Port of Houston Authority as the Trade Development Manager in April 2010. He is responsible for working with all partners in the Electronic Goods, Petrochemical, General Department Store Merchandise, Apparel, Footwear, and Furniture markets, to develop, maintain and grow business within the Greater Houston Area. He currently handles the entire Eastern United States and Asia to help promote business for the Port of Houston, and after having success with companies such as Exxon Mobil, Igloo, Rooms to Go and The Home Depot was moved to the role of Senior Trade Development Manager.
