MTS Logistics Announces 16th Annual Bike Tour with MTS for Autism Event, Looking to Raise $150,000 for Autism Awareness and Job Training for Young Adults with Autism

MTS Logistics, Inc., the New York-based freight forwarder and logistics leader, today announced its 16th Annual Bike Tour with MTS for Autism charity biking event, scheduled to take place Saturday, June 13th, 2026.

The company’s 16th annual bike tour event comes a year after its blockbuster 15th year biking for autism awareness, when over $110,000 was raised for autism awareness, with the money supporting New Jersey-based not-for-profit organization Spectrum Works, Inc., which trains and finds jobs for young adults with autism.

This year’s bike tour event hopes to raise over $150,000 for autism awareness. MTS Logistics and Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF) have again partnered together for a great cause.

Through last year’s $110,000+ raised, Spectrum Works was able to help students with autism find jobs at over 25 partner companies that included IKEA, Walgreens, Old Navy, Rent the Runway, American Dream, Sesame Street Learn & Play, and more. With its goal of $150,000 or more, MTS Logistics will be able to affect more lives by increasing the number of jobs filled and make an even-bigger impact long-term.

At this year’s event, participants will enjoy a free bike rental and jersey, as well as bottled water, courtesy of MTS Logistics. They will also enjoy a light and healthy lunch in Brighton Beach before heading back to Manhattan. Exciting prizes will be raffled off, including:

  • Two (2) round-trip Turkish Airlines tickets, good for anywhere that Turkish Airlines flies – the winner gets to pick their destination
  • MTS Logistics will also raffle off four (4) individual spa treatments for four (4) lucky winners
  • A variety of other surprise raffle prizes for bikers.

As kids are a big part of MTS Logistics’ annual bike tour tradition, each kid under the age of 12 who bikes during the event will be gifted a free bike to take home with them.

MTS Logistics’ annual bike tour event has grown into the shipping industry’s largest.

Over the past 16 years, hundreds of lives have been changed as many young adults with autism have been trained and placed in jobs at some of America’s largest companies as a result of funds raised from the event. Through MTS Logistics’ long-standing partnership with Spectrum Works, the company has raised over $550,000 since the event’s inception nearly two decades ago.

Each year, dozens of bikers from the shipping, logistics, and transportation industries join together and bike for a cause. What makes the event different is that families and their kids join the bikers, and kids regularly bike the full route from Manhattan to Brighton Beach and back – giving everyone from the youngest generation to teenagers an early introduction to the value of giving back in the world.

In the shipping industry, giants like Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), Maersk, Hapag-Lloyd, CGA-CGM, and others have supported this great event for many years and have joined the bike route as well.

MTS Logistics President Sedat Saka noted the event’s lasting impact on autism awareness:

“Now in our 16th year, and almost two decades of MTS Logistics hosting these annual impactful bike tour events, I am extremely proud of the entire shipping and logistics community for coming together and supporting this great cause. Last year’s $110,000 raised really made a huge impact with large American companies hiring students with autism for jobs and training them.

The bike tour participants were enthusiastic about this cause, and this year, we hope to raise an even bigger sum of $150,000. I thank everyone for their support in years past and look forward to continuing this great tradition.”
