MTS Logistics today announced our 14th Annual Bike Tour with MTS for Autism, the largest biking event in shipping and logistics, taking place Saturday, June 8, 2024.
MTS Logistics is proud to announce that we will be hosting our 14th Annual Bike Tour with MTS for Autism on Saturday, June 8th, 2024. Now in its 14th year, this annual charity bike event raised over $100,000 for autism acceptance last year. Over the past 14 years, the event has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the cause of autism acceptance.
Each year, the MTS Logistics community and the broader shipping and logistics industry comes together with everyone from businesses, employees, family, and friends biking for a cause. Everyone’s participation has made this annual bike event the largest bike event ever in the shipping and logistics industry.
Partnering with Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF), our goal in 2024 is bigger than ever: raise $150,000 for autism acceptance!
Our goal this year is our largest yet: $150,000 for autism acceptance. We have once again partnered with Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF) – a non-profit organization for high-impact social investments dedicated to the Turkish and Turkish-American communities – to make a bigger impact and raise proceeds for Spectrum Works, which provides job training & employment to young adults with autism. Every dollar raised from the event will be donated to Spectrum Works. We are proud to have partnered with Spectrum Works over many years on this impactful event.
All proceeds raised for Spectrum Works through our annual bike tour event translates into real-world impacts for young adults with autism. For example, funds raised through this event in the past helped Spectrum Works grow its BRIDGES network to include America’s largest corporations in its job training programs for young adults with autism. This programs directly impact young adults on the spectrum.
MTS Logistics is proud to again provide 10 Spectrum BRIDGES “Autism in the Workplace” sessions to event sponsors – a $500 value per company.
What’s in store for riders at this year’s bike tour event?
Participants, as in years past, will enjoy numerous perks during this year’s event:
- Coffee, fruit, and water will be provided during Event Registration
- Fun music will amp up participants and get them prepared for an eventful day
- Bikers will receive a free bike rental and jersey, courtesy of MTS and Turkish Philanthropy Funds (TPF)
- A delicious and healthy lunch will be served at Tatiana Restaurant in Brooklyn
- Exciting prizes for adults and kids will be raffled off during the event
- Kids are welcome to bike with us, too!
We are proud to announce that platinum sponsor Turkish Airlines has donated two round-trip tickets to anywhere Turkish Airlines flies globally, which will be raffled off for this year’s grand prize.
Other prizes will include 2 bikes raffled off by MTS Logistics, and two sets of spa tickets for two lucky couples (2 sets of 2 tickets, raffled by MTS Logistics.)
